Are results of Colonology different from biopsy
Hi,

My father aged 62 just had colonology done and the colonogy report says:
1) Rectum and sigmoid colon: Distal 30cm of the colon shows diffuse, hyperemia friability and Ulcerations
2) Descending/Transverse/Ascending Colon: Normal mucosa.

The doctor said that its Ulcer and nothing related to Cancer.

The biopsy result s are yet to come, can anyone please suggest if the results of colonology are different from biopsy,.It is stil possible that the biopsy results report Colon Cancer.???

Thanks in advance
