CEA MARKER

by gary1953, Oct 30, 2009 01:12PM
I am a 55 yr old male who had stage III colon cancer of the sigmond.  I had the  Resection done in June;  in July my Cea was 0.95.  I have went thru 5 FOLFOX-6 treatments so far and in Oct. my Cea is at 1.89.  I am not a smoker. I know  this number  is within normal range but does the increase mean the chemo is not working and needs to be changed.
