I have a hemorrhoid right at my anal opening. It has been extremely painful and I have had difficulty even passing stools before using lidocaine. Doctor gave me lidocaine and hydrocortisone cream. It has helped a little bit, but my hemorrhoid does not seem to get better bc I have so many bowel movements each day, up to 5 or 6 per day. After I eat, I immediately feel like I have to poop and will have abdominal discomfort and/or bloating until I do. It also feels like the pain might be coming from somewhere other than the hemorrhoid, like right inside the rectum. My stools have been thinner, but not pencil thin. I also have been taking hem-relief and using witch hazel externally, which seems to have done nothing.
I guess I am just concerned that this could be more than a hemorrhoid...what do you think?
