Is this Colon Cancer?

I have had an upset stomach for a couple of weeks now (nauseated). During a couple of days I felt like I was going to vomit.. I have had constipation for a really long time, undiagnosed, and occasional diarrhea as well. This week I noticed blood on the toilet paper after a BM 3 days in a row. I have not seen it again, yet. I have had occasional cramps in my lower intestines and rectal pain. I have been examining my stool, because I have been fearing that this might be serious, and they have yet to look 'normal' in size, shape, and texture. I have not noticed any blood in my stools, but I have noticed mucous coating and coming off of my stools. I think I do have a hemorrhoid that is outside and does not go back in (undiagnosed), but I am wondering if something else is going on. I try to drink a lot of water or liquids that contain water daily, but I do not know if I get enough fiber in my diet...
In terms of my symptoms, I also have fatigue, and loss of appetite. My BMs are painful and take a ton of straining, and I always feel like there is something more. The diarrhea is the same way, but it does not take straining.
Today, when I examined my stools, a lot of them were irregular, the looked as if they had been disturbed, because they had.. whisps, and lately only one or two stools have been normal in size, the rest are just little balls, or tiny thin lines. One of the more 'normal' stools today was a lot thinner than I am used to, and the other one looked smaller as well. I am just really worried that I may at least have some colon polyps, if not cancer, but am afraid to bring this up to my parents in case it is simply a need for more fiber.
I don't know if this was a good idea, but I attempted to push my finger up my anus, and I could not even push my entire pinkie finger in without feeling like there was something in the way. I am only 17, a female, so I do not know if that is because my rectum turned there, becoming my colon, or if there is actually something blocking the way. Regardless, it was really hard to push my pinkie inside in the first place, and when I could go no further, it was incredibly uncomfortable.
I will continue to monitor my symptoms and stools, but I would really like someone's opinion on what it may be. I apologize, however, for posting in the colon cancer section in case it is not actually cancer or polyps, but it is my fear..
Thanks in advance!

Based on your young age, colon cancer is very unlikely- unless there is a known family history of early colon cancer or polyps. Any kind of blood being passed should be examined by a doctor. A more likely diagnosis would be IBS or Crohns Disease. Aside from the fatigue and loss of appetite, all of your symptoms do point to a hemorrhoid. I know it may be uncomfortable to discuss this with your parents, but I would let them know and follow up with your doctor- don't let them dismiss your symptoms just because you are young. Hope you feel better soon

I checked the internet, and Hemorrhoids do not have any of the symptoms I described except for bleeding. Irritable Bowel Syndrome has a lot of my symptoms, but does not include nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, or bleeding. It also does not mention any irregularities in stool form, length, or diameter, and does not explain a small amount of stools while having loose stools either. Plus, I have read that anyone can get colon cancer, but the likelihood increases with age. Regardless, I suppose I should just see a doctor? Should I request a colonoscopy automatically or let them run other tests first?

I quote from Mama2many: There is "a posting on Medhelp whereby a doctor said that the youngest age at which he/she had observed colon cancer signs was 16". This makes it possible.
I am just worried, because basically the only thing that I do not have in terms of polyps is bloody stools, and the only thing aside from that for cancer is weight loss, and I am sure that if I continue to not eat enough, I will lose weight..

If they are internal hemorrhoids, that can cause narrow stools along with mucus. Like I said, colon cancer isn't unheard of in people your age, but still, it's uncommon. I would explain your concerns with your doctor. More than likely they will do other tests first before ordering a colonoscopy such as stool cultures, blood work, and possibly a CT scan of the abdomen. Only you know how you are feeling so if you feel a colonoscopy is necessary, ask the doctor for one. And if they say no- I would get a second opinion. Try to stay positive and know that these symptoms could be caused by something minor. Keep us updated on how you are doing!

Ok.. I had been eating a lot for the past few days, no loss of appetite, but still all of the other symptoms above on and off. I weighed myself at 119 the day before last and felt like I had ate a ton for both lunch and dinner. Yesterday I checked, and I was 117.5. I did not eat much yesterday due to being very busy, and I tend to skip breakfast, had a small lunch, and a very small, but late, dinner. Today I weighed myself, and I was 113.5. 4 pounds in a single day?! I had a muffin and fruit for breakfast this morning.. I have not been exercising.. the only thing I can think of is my stools. They have been loose and I have seen bits of food in them since the bleeding went away.
I am being stubborn.. I usually am when I am sick.
Today I really felt like I had diarrhea.. this is the 10th day since I have started to have these symptoms. I think I will watch it a little more, and either when I have a fever or when I get to 110 for no reason, I will see a doctor.

Yesterday I had a horrid pain in my abdomen that lasted about 20 minutes. I was crying, it hurt so much, and had to curl up in a ball, I couldn't stand up, it hurt more. I finally had the urge to have a BM, and after straining and straining, the pain dulled, but I had a sharp pain in my rectum, and a dull pain in my left side. It took 20 minutes for me to get out a very hard, but small, mass, and there was a bit of blood on the toilet paper. I gained weight yesterday and today, due to eating more (My body must be trying to make up for the loss). Today I have a dull ache in my left side, and the urge to have a BM, but when I try, nothing wants to come out... I have been incredibly tired and weak the entire time, going to bed around 9:30, and not wanting to wake up for another 12 hours; my knees feel like they are trying to give out on me half the time... I'm just worried.
