Palliative Surgery

i had surgery in 2007 for colorectal cancer and in 12 months i was told it came back and had spread to my liver and left lung my doctors said there was nothing they can do but yet they could not give me a time limit. but my lungs and liver has give me no problems at all but i have a tumor that came on the out side of my bottom that  hurts when i sit down so to advoid the pain of sitting i took to laying in the bed for over 7 months now and because of this i have lost my muscle tone and its hard to walk now i have talk to my surgen about Palliative surgery and i know that this is not a cure but i also know it can inprove my quality of life and give me the inability to sit up and move or to function as usual but my sergon says he don't do that kind of surgery its so un fare to have to lay around and wait to die some day when i can have a better quality of life. so my question is where can i find a surgon that might be interrested in removeing this tumor from my bottom so that i may get up from this bed and injoy life a little more any advice will be helpful thank you so much for any advice you can give on this matter  Kathy

I only know 1 surgeon here in Australia who is an invasive surgeon-he will remove any organ possible to keep his patients alive...he is about saving lives not whats easier for him as many other surgeons are so easy to opt out of long & complicated surgery...His name is Professor Morris, he is located in Kogarah NSW best to contact St George Hospital in kogarah who can assist in locating him
all the best
