Pre cancerous

by TMU, Oct 20, 2009 06:45PM
Not a question. Just a note from my experience. Went for first colonoscopy in 2008 and had four pre cancerous polyps removed. (No symptoms). My doctor recommended 81 mg of aspirin daily and returned a year later and had only one. He said some studys seem to show an improvement with the intake of aspirin on a daily basis.
I can't argue with my outcome!  I must return on a yearly basis until there are no polyps or if there are...and they are not cancerous, I can return in two years.  Not a bad deal to keep from having it invade the colon wall !
