My question is I am a breast cancer survivor almost 5 years now it was estrogenHormone replacement therapy positive so I just under went a full hystorectimy in december to eliminate the risk of ovarianAscites with ovarian cancer, ct scan Ovarian cancer Ovarian cancer dangers Ovarian cancer metastasis Ovarian cyst Ovarian cysts Ovarian growth worries Ovarian growths Ovarian hypofunction Peritoneal and ovarian cancer, ct scan Polycystic ovary disease cancer because I am BRAC 2 positive but it is with an unknown varient in which my oncologists state i have a 80% of many other cancers, now i am undergoing tests in my large intestine that has been diagnosed with diverticilitis so I have been on antibiotics for 15 days and will be doing another MRI (I had a CT scan 20 days ago) to check on the divertilitis and they stated i have a 1 cm lesion on my liver that they need to check out too, I had a colonoscopy three years ago with a clean bill of health but since then have had pain in my lower left abdomen for a couple of years now I am concerned that something is being missed should i request another coloscopy could I be developing cololn cancer? I also have some bleeding when I go to the restroom and severe constipation I am just curious as to what I should check for next?
If the colonoscopy is clear then I also suggest that you ask whether, in view of your medical history, follow up colonoscopies are recommended at intervals on ... years.
I think that rectal bleeding always requires an individual investigation no matter what other medical conditions are taking place concurrently. Unless the cause of the bleeding is firmly stated to be minor (such as an anal fissure or haemorrhoids) then I suggest you insist on a colonoscopy.
If the colonoscopy is clear then I also suggest that you ask whether, in view of your medical history, follow up colonoscopies are recommended at intervals on ... years.
