Atfer having surgery on my colon i dont know what i cant and can eat. The doctors didnt give me much information to go on. They took out my colon due to pulups that were or could form cancer, Now I'm left not knowing what to eat beacuse i dont want to do harm to my insides by eating the wrong thing. can you help me?
I underwent a total colectomy five years ago and my surgeon told me to eat pretty much what I wanted. You will need to drink more (~2 litres of water per day) and you may find your motions very runny. I increased my fibre intake which made my motions more "muddy/sludgy".
