recurrence of colon polyps

by henning, Nov 01, 2009 06:23PM
I had a colonscopy last year and they found polyps in the colon and stomache which they removed. I just had another colonascopy becuz the upper gi showed narrowed loops of the distal ileum and the end portin of the terminal ileum as it enters teh ileocecal valve is narrow. They found another polyp in the sigmad colon and removed that. They also found a small hiatal hernia in the small bowel. My primary dr and surgeon want me to be seen at the Mayo Clinic, but my gastro dr feels it is nothing. Could you please tell me what this all means and is there anything else they could look for that someone is missing? And is normal to find another polyp is just one year from the last colonscopy?
