Did my chiropractor hurt me

Went to chiropractor for neck pain, he told me my collar bone was out.  while receiving my adjustment the dr. adjusted my shoulder and it heard bad, I went home and the pain got worse, I called back and he didn't answer, went back 2 business days later as he was closed the following day and was told to get another dr. and get an xray done, I did and inflammation showed. I received another adjustment a few days later and still not better only worse, called back and was told to find another chiropractor, I went back to my medical dr, who did an mri and it shows that I have tearing in the labrum, and bicep, and degeneration, and spurs. I will have to have surgery to repair. I was not experiencing any pain until the adjustment, he using the activator and athrostim. I also must mention that he falls asleep while adjusting his patients and did that day on me and fell into the blind and table, could he be responsible for my problem?

Like any other medical practitioner, such as osteopaths, chiropractors come good and not so good and downright awful.  But no chiropractor can create degeneration or bone spurs in one session, and he would have to pull extremely hard to tear your bicep by moving your shoulder.  He obviously seems to have pulled a trigger on your pain, but your underlying condition sounds more long-term.  I wouldn't go back and see him again, though, based on your description of him falling asleep, if that's true, though it's hard to see how that's possible given an adjustment is a physical exertion.  Personally, I've seen chiropractors I thought were too rough and I don't go back to those, and I've had some who do too little, and I've seen some who are really good, but I've had the same problems with doctors of all stripes.

I wouldn't recommend a chiropractor for anything!! I would see an Osteopathic Dr. As for the responsibility speak to your attorney.
