Hey paxiled, got my blood test results this morning and i'm low in iron and my glucose level is high, so i have to have another GTT test at the hospital, had one 2 years ago and came back as impaired glucose tolerance?? i should of been tested again along time ago but never did it...stupid me, it may of turned into Diabetes... thats what the doc said anyway, so anxiety is high and energy level is non-existant, but i will try some wheat grass and get a good iron supplement.  Thank hun and all the best xx

Hey, Jules, remember that some people are just more sensitive to these meds than others are.  I doubt probiotics will affect your energy levels, but adaptogens might.  Try taking some eleuthero or American ginseng three times a day and some wheat grass or spirulina and see if it helps.  Wishing you were feeling better.

Hiya Laura, do you find this helps with your energy levels and general discomfort of taking anti-biotics.  I'm on day 4 now and i am feeling so drained and tired, my energy levels are through the floor.

Hi Julie!  I myself always start my probiotics while taking the antibiotic and then continue on for a couple of weeks after finishing with your meds.

Hey Paxiled, thanks for the comment.  I have Acidophilus which has bifidus in it i believe.  Also have bought the yougurts with pro-biotics in it....

The amoxicillian is making me so utterly tired and spaced out and the pain is worse, i guess it is attacking the infection and thats why.  Getting worse b4 getting better and all that.

Anyway hope your good and will chat to you again soon.  Take care and all the best. Julie

Some believe the antibiotics will kill them, some think they're still helpful.  You must finish the antibiotic course once you start to avoid creating a resistant strain.  If you're having stomach problems, you might try a probiotic with bifidus in it.  You can also try ginger, chamomile,  homeopathic remedies such as nux vomica, aloe juice and the like for the stomach problems.  Good luck.
