I would say try Mega Foods brand if you haven't already, in line with what Laura is recommending. If that doesn't set well with you, then probably nothing will. You know, these are just supplements -- if you eat a great diet you don't need them. Some of them are necessary when we have deficiencies, but that would involve individual supplements, not a multi. Macrobiotics don't believe in supplementation, they believe in getting their nutrients from food, and they take a great deal of time in their lives to prepare food. You might be one of those people who only need tiny amounts of things because you absorb things especially well. Most of us don't absorb vitamins well, and that's why we need so much in our pills -- we're only going to actually absorb a very small amount of what's in there. You might be absorbing a large amount, which could account for side effects -- you're getting too much. Mega Foods cultures their vitamins, so they don't put as much in them as other companies, claiming they're absorbed better. Another company that does this is New Chapter. But you have to read all the ingredients -- they put a lot of food in them, too, so check for allergies and such, though the amounts are infinitesimal.
Were they synthetic supplements or whole food source? That may have something to do with it.
