Swine Flu Scam Continues
The great Swine Flu hoax marches on, once again putting our elderly and other vulnerable people at unnecessary risk for the sake of greed and profits. While the World Health Organization has officially declared the end of the H1N1 pandemic-that-never-was, the untested H1N1 swine flu vaccine is being included in the annual flu jab this winter. Health officials claim that swine flu could still become a major epidemic, but it is most likely being done to reduce enormous stocks of the vaccine that governments were conned into ordering last year.
Flu shots usually have questionable benefits and the risk of potentially harmful side effects in the first place. The decision to include the H1N1 vaccine will result in even greater risks to large numbers of vulnerable people – including the elderly, those with heart disease and chest problems, and diabetics. The vaccine has never been properly tested and it contains a mercury-based preservative, thimerosol. Last year, key workers who were vaccinated against the supposed swine flu pandemic reported having headaches, sleeplessness and stomach cramps.
A new study in the September 8 issue of Journal of American Medical Association suggests that the 2009 H1N1 flu virus had lower risk of most serious complications compared to recent seasonal flu strains. The study by Edward A. Belongia, M.D., of the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, and colleagues found that the 2009 H1N1 flu did not cause more hospitalizations and pneumonia, which are the most common severe complications of influenza.
Last year, some countries refused and/or denounced the H1N1 vaccine and a report in the British Medical Journal revealed that top scientists who convinced the WHO to declare the pandemic held close financial ties to the drug companies that profited from the sale of those vaccines. Already this year Australia has banned flu vaccines in children after reports of vomiting, fevers and seizure. Finland has also banned H1N1 flu vaccines and Sweden's Medical Products Agency (MPA) is investigating the H1N1 vaccine Pandemrix on the request of the European Commission after it has been linked to narcolepsy in children. In addition to Sweden and Finland, there have also been cases reported in France, Germany, and Norway.
The truth that mainstream medicine and the vaccine makers do not want the public to know is that there are much better and safer natural alternatives for preventing and beating the flu. Eating and living healthily to boost your bodies natural first line of defense against the flu and other illnesses is a far better plan than relying on risky and marginally effective flu jabs.

I haven't read all the posts. In case it hasn't been mentioned anywhere, the swine flue was less severe than our old regular flu. Check the stats if you don't believe me. I never paid any attention to the scare, just as I never paid attention to the West Nile virus scare. The only people the latter killed were those already on their death beds. I caught it and it was less annoying than a cold. I was careful not to tell my doctor about it not wanting to be either a guinea pig, or a statistic.

Latest flu shot linked to seizures
Check the calendar, flu-shot season is here -- and if you thought last year's vaccine was bad, wait 'til you get a load of this one.
They haven't even started jabbing shoulders in earnest yet, and we're already getting terrifying warnings from the feds -- because one of the new vaccines has been linked to seizures in children.
Australia, just coming out of its flu season, had to suspend flu shots for kids -- because little ones were suffering febrile seizures at 10 times the normal rate.
It's bad enough that there's a "normal rate" of seizures associated with flu shots. The fact that it's now 10 times higher is just plain outrageous.
A febrile seizure? It's one of the most frightening things a parent or grandparent could ever witness. The child's temperature flies through the roof, causing the child to pass out, shake, stop breathing, and even turn blue.
Who knows what else will happen when this year's jab goes into wide use... but the feds aren't waiting. The CDC is already busy hawking vaccines, urging flu shots for every man, woman, and child older than six months.
That's a pretty bold recommendation when you consider that there's no evidence that flu shots cut flu deaths. None. Just look at what happened last year -- despite all the dire warnings and predictions, we Americans thumbed our collective nose at the dangerous swine flu vaccine... and we pulled through the "pandemic" just fine.
Of course, the joke was on us because we paid for those vaccines whether we used them or not -- but don't get me started on that.

Key WHO Pandemic Advisors had Financial Ties to Vaccine Makers
This was perhaps suspected, but when the World Health Organization finally released a list of its pandemic advisors, it finally confirmed that at least five of the key players who influenced the phase six pandemic declaration indeed had financial ties to vaccine makers.
As we now know, our tax dollars were completely wasted on these nonessential pandemic vaccines, and it appears as though financial conflicts of interest between WHO pandemic advisors and the industry may have had a great deal to do with it.
Is it really wise to take advice from people who have a financial stake in the outcome of the decision to declare a worldwide pandemic?
I think recent history tells us the answer is clearly NO!
On June 24th, the European Parliamentary Assembly criticized the lack of transparency and "grave shortcomings" in the decision-making processes relating to the pandemic, stating:

That is what I've been reading about the Spanish flu. But since I have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, I think I should work on boosting my immune system. However, I wouldn't recommend this for people who are already healthy.
Heard on tv that airplanes are actually one of the safest places to avoid a virus, since air is refreshed more frequently than nearly any other place. Apparently this is an urban myth. Said there are really no cases of mass outbreaks on airplanes. Different once they're on the ground, of course.
I have delayed my trip to Canada by a few weeks to see whether the Swine Flu decides to peter out. I do not fear for myself as I am relatively strong but I fear for my mother who I am going to see and as airplanes are virus hell holes I don't want to risk it.

Luckily, it's not my wedding in Mexico. It is definitely non-essential travel, though. If I decide to not go (and it seems like my boyfriend is leaning towards not going), I'll have to see if I can get a refund on my airline tickets.
I'm just going to:
a) stay home as much as possible
b) wash my hands frequently and preach to my husband so he will do the same ; ^ )
c) work on my immune system
d) have 2 boxes of Oscillocccinum ready to go... just in case. Of course if I get the flu, I'll be taking it along with whatever else the ER or my PCP prescribes for me.
you can buy it at a healthfood store or some of your drug stores. It is good to have on hand for any upper respiratory infection or flu. You have to take it at first signs though....the directions are on it. :)

Where to start? Are you guys really that frightened of the flu? Here's the thing about this flu -- quite the contrary of what's being talked about here. Those in Mexico who have been infected are young with quite strong immune systems, not weakened immune systems. So there's no evidence at this point that extreme immune system strengthening will help. Second, it's not really flu season anymore, so it's likely not to be that bad until next fall, with the next flu season. So far, only people in Mexico have died, and there is no evidence yet that they even had this flu, which isn't actually swine flu but a combination of four different strains of flu, only one being swine. So we don't know yet why in Canada and the US this is just a flu and in Mexico it's a killer.
People don't die from pneumonia because the flu weakens the immune system, they already have a weakened immune system, are usually older, and have a weakened pulmonary system. Also, most who die from pneumonia get it in the hospital, where pneumonia is epidemic. So stay away from the hospital.
Bi was right, grapeseed extract and the OPCs are wonderful antioxidants, but don't protect against the flu. Grapefruit seed extract is a very strong antifungal and antibacterial, but again, probably not an antiviral. Oregano oil may be an antiviral. Olive leaf extract and elderberry are two of the strongest antivirals in the plant world, but remember, both only help after you have a virus. There are also formulas for persistent viruses that rely on herbs such as isatis and lomatium and St. John's Wort; herb pharm makes a very good one.
Ecchinacea shouldn't be taken long term; it overstrengthens the immune system. Better to take astragalus combinations, such as the one made by Gaia. But again, this flu has been mostly hitting the healthy, not the weakened. And we don't yet know what it is. We know there's a flu out there, but we don't know if the people in Mexico actually had it.
Oscillo is good at delaying flu, but usually it will come eventually. It's a homeopathic made by Boiron, and can be found at any health food store and probably most drug stores these days. It must be taken three full vials of pills to work.
Finally, just relax, everyone. With the US medical system, this is just a flu. And you don't close a border because of the flu, if everyone did that the economic depression that followed would kill far more people than any flu. This isn't 1918, we know how to give fluids and care for people now.

I would also like to ask him what his thoughts are on that recent MSNBC article about experts now saying that the 1918 Spanish flu deaths were due to bacteria and not the virus itself.

I definitely agree with you. I don't know if you read this on MSNBC, but I was surprised to read recently that medical and scientific experts believe that BACTERIA, and not influenza was the cause of death during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic.
