Topical Arnica Cream .. Any suggestions for joint / tendon pain?

I have ongoing tendon pain from condition that I take Mobic 15mg for on a daily basis to maintain it enough to avoid surgery for now. But sometimes, it is extremely painful/inflammed and I need a topical anagelisic and a friend suggested Arnica which I tried and it worked well in a cream form!

Any thougths, ideas, suggestions on this type of product is most appreciated. Where to buy, type of cream vs. gel vs. oil, etc. thoughts.

C- Homeopathic formulas are easy to figure out. If it works, then it is the right formula for you....if it doesn't, then you have to keep searching. If you found it in cream form and it works, then stick with it. Other product that works is one with capsicum in it...it reduces inflammation when rubbed on and helps reduce pain. Both types can be found in a healthfood store.....possibly in a drugstore.
An old time secret which will really help with pain and inflammation, is to take a epsom salt bath in a nice warm bath!
