What is the best supplement for high blood pressure? Hawthorn? Olive leaf? Whey?

I have heard tons of supplement "claiming" to reduce blood pressure but i have tried most of them and it didnt work. i am very tempted to try ENZYMATIC THERAPY - HAWTHORN + OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT but i was abit afraid.

Perhaps my blood pressure wasnt that "high" but i would like to know if any of you have success with the following supplement -

1. coq10 ubiquinol
2. garlic
3. magnesium or potassium
4. Olive leaf extract
5. hawthorn
6. Whey extract CVH15  (it works but i got sore throat and i discontinued using it)
7. L-arginine

Anyone has any other supplement to recommend? I am very tired of spending so much and getting not much result...

please help

Enzymatic Therapy is one of the best companies out there, and one of the oldest.  Expensive, but reliable.  I can't say the supplement you're looking at is really for blood pressure, however, it's more of a protectant for the heart.  Magnesium, for example, relaxes the heart muscle, coq10 provides energy for the heart muscle, only the hawthorn is really for blood pressure.  If you want to try a formula strictly for blood pressure, try a tincture from Herb Pharm called Linden Mistletoe formula.  It's a compound of five herbs.  Combined with a diet and exercise program, people found it very effective.

Thanks Paxiled. You have given me some great advise!

I am really impressed with the Linden Mistletoe as it combined hawthorn with Olive leaf and mistletoe herb. I believe there is no other product that comes close.

I am just worried about the sensitivity of my body towards strong supplement and will Mistletoe compound be too strong for a young man aged 28?

Do you happen to know why some supplement and drugs would result in sore throat?

Young people can take stronger things than the elderly, and 28 isn't "young," in a supplement sense.  12 is young in a supplement sense, but 28 is a full grown adult.  And remember, herbs aren't that strong, that's why they need to be taken three times a day and why pharmaceuticals were invented.  Herbs are milder and gentler, they often work, but sometimes aren't strong enough.  And no, but I don't know what supplements or drugs.  If you're taking blood pressure medication, you realize you can't use an herbal remedy for it, right?  You'll end up with low blood pressure.  Now, some people think putting tinctures under their tongue makes them absorbed better, and since they're tinctured in alcohol, that can burn the throat.  They're actually absorbed better if the drops are put in water and then drunk, so it will get to the digestive system.  Herbs are food, and have to be digested; they're not sublingual.
