please help, symptoms won't go away

Hi
I have been unwell for over a month. I wake up every morning feeling nausious and with a queezy feeling in the lower/middle of my breastbones. Some days are worse then others. I have lost 6kgs and my liver functions are elevated. Im not pregnant and I don't have a gallbladder. I had 3 attacks of severe upper quadrant pain in the first two weeks I was sick.
I was desperate and seen a natropath yesterday who claims all of this originates from having my gall bladder out 2.5 yrs ago. He claims my digestive system is in disarray and my liver's not functioning properly. He prescribed me numerous supplements and gave me a special diet to follow which is basically veges, fruit and some almonds. After starting this yesterday I feel worse.
Has anyone had any experience with natropaths?

A standard supplement to detoxify the liver is milk thistle. My sister had liver cancer and part of her liver was removed. She refused chemotherapy and went natural. Part of her treatment was milk thistle. She has been cancer free for eight years. Whether this was primarily due to milk thistle no one will ever know. In any case milk thistle is used for all sorts of liver ailments.

This isn't to comment on the diet, because I haven't the faintest idea what's actually bothering you.  I'd think you'd want to do to a doctor first to have your liver tested to see if that's the source of your problem, then got to the naturopath when you have an idea of what's up.  But natural medicine, particularly dietary changes, often make a person feel worse before they make you feel better.  This is particularly true with liver treatment, as it's a detox organ and will start eliminating toxins as it cleanses, which can make you sick until it cleans out.
