skin problem, i dont understand

Like a week ago, a red blotch appeared on my left hand- about the size of  an oval.  They haven't spread or changed size. a little darker. No other symptoms have been noticed. Any ideas as to what this could be? It almost looks like a burn, but since I haven't been burned, I ruled that one out. I did start working out last week and remember sweating alot to where i felt alot of heat in hands.  I also remember going to laundromat where after a good jog and possible hand pores open got some chemicals from getting close from turbo dryer.  it felt very warm as i was getting clothes out.  I am hesitant to know what it could be, any advice?
