that was very diplomatic of you, ha ha ha. I don't know what happened, it appears to have fizzled out,

I think we all know what happened, folks.  Now they're apparently preparing to run me off the anxiety forum.  If we can't get to the nub, what's the point?

Been sick.  Bad reaction to a bad medication.  Hey, Pax, what is a good detox that can help speed up the body's removal of this bad medication that I stopped taking?  I was told it could take several weeks before my hormone levels return to normal.  I just want to help get rid of this medication that was clearly wrong for my body.  The medication in question raised the Prolactin levels, so my breasts are swollen and painful.  The nipples and areolas are red, swollen and tender.  Been to the doctor who told me that time is the only thing that is going to resolve this issue.  I need a good detox that is gentle and won't make me sick.

You've asked a question about a specific medication I know nothing about, and I certainly don't want to make you sicker.  I don't know whether it's safe to flush this out of your system quickly or not.  I also don't know whether it's fat soluble or not, nor what organ it targets, but I have to assume it's fat soluble because it's affecting your mammaries.  I'll give you a couple ideas, but I'd encourage you to consult both with your doctor and perhaps a naturopath or holistic nutritionist who might have some experience with this med.  There's a tea called Daily Detox which is a very gentle liver detox.  Probably won't work quickly.  There's a formula made by Planetary Formulas called Bupleurum Liver Cleanse, also very gentle.  The liver is the body's detox agent, so that's generally where medication toxins are stored.  But there are a million liver cleanses out there.  Now, if it's in you blood, liver cleanses will help, since the liver also cleanses the blood.  But Red Clover Cleanser by Planetary Formulas goes directly to cleaning out the blood cells and the organs, like the liver, that produce and strengthen the blood.  And drink lots of pure water.  But again, as I have no specific expertise on this med, please do your homework first.  Good luck.

No, dog-gone it, I have NOT been feeling too great. I did, however, start my new B-12 injections yesterday, the Methylcobalamin, and I think that I just might be noticing a difference, only problem, when it wears off, about 3 or 4 hours later, I am extra depressed, I guess it takes time to build up.

My right arm is also hurting big time. I have been diagnosed with TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) and my chiro is doing special disc decompression on that area, so far, it looks like it is helping, I have not hurt for two days now, and before, it was all the time and getting worse.

The dang irregular heart beats are bothering me to tears, but, I think I have come up with something for that too, I just started, today, taking a great pure herbal formula with Hawthorn and Mother wort in it, my doc recommended it for me, if this does not help, I am going to try high doses of Arginine and Taurine, I have been reading where these two can really help with the PAC's and "extra" beats. I am glad my doc is working with me on these things.

Other than that, I am fine. LOL, now, aren't you glad you asked? He He

Thank you for the information.  I will certainly look into the information before trying the detox you mentioned.  The lady at the health store seemed to think the Planetary Formula liver cleanse you mentioned would be good to use as long as I take extra dietary fiber.  Well, that's no problem, since I do that anyway for IBS-C.  Since psyllium irritates my GERD, I've been using flaxseed meal and inulin fiber supplements.  I will check with the naturopath, but this formula sounds like it will be a good gentle detox.

I don't know if you've tried this, but if you haven't, try taking three ounces of aloe juice every day and see if that doesn't help your GERD and IBS.  If not, try DGL.  Slippery elm can also be helpful.  Good luck.

Hi all ....sorry I have been very busy, and then I fell ill! Yuck!
I am on a nice high dosage of Doxycycline.  :(

For a nice easy cleanse I like to use a tea by Yogi.  It is the cleanse detox for liver and kidneys. Never had anything but good results with it and no detox symptoms.

I have tried aloe vera.  It works.  DGL actually irritated my GERD more.  Slippery elm didn't seem to do anything at all.  If the aloe vera juice is diluted in enough water, it's fine without any fruit juice, too.

I'll take another look at Yogi.  I have to be careful about some of those detox tea blends.  I have a lot of sensitivities.  I used to use the one by Celestial Seasonings, until I discovered that it has a couple of ingredients in it that don't agree with me.  I'll have to read the list of ingredients again, since it has been a while since I've taken a look at them.  So, I don't remember all the ingredients in them.  I hope the antibiotic you have to take does the trick and you start to feel better soon.  Sometimes we have to take an antibiotic.
