tooth infection

by lsljkl, Nov 03, 2009 10:49PM
I thought I had an infection in my tooth, upper/back gum line because of a small bump; I went to see a Dentist and he cleaned deep and around the tooth; the bump went away then about a month later the bump came back and kept on getting bigger, it never drained on its own,  One morning during this time I woke up with a major sinusis infection/sore throat, I went to see the Dentist and he said the tooth had to be pulled.  I had to go out of down and  he put me on and  Z pack, antibiotic which helped the sinus infection but not the tooth so the Dentist put me on another antibiotic; the large bump started to get smaller, still no draining from the tooth.  Now, during this same time I was to go in for my mammogram;  the morning of my appt. I felt a sorness and then a small bump under the skin, I had my mammogram; ( x-ray)  ultra sound and a MRI; three Dr. later and just before a biobsy, which they decided not to do because the reddness, soreness AND the bump all were gone; this  and all got better after the 2nd antibiotic. Could this all have been caused from the tooth infection; (tooth has been pulled)   If so, what kind of infection could it have been in my brest (duct ?) One Dr. said, Good question, 2nd Dr. said, NO, 3rd Dr. said, Anything is medically possible.  I am just trying to find more info. on line.
