Bone in left side of mandible feels like it is poking me.

by bballdunker, Sep 16, 2009 06:28PM
I had a jaw surgery a few years ago, and I recently noticed that on the left anterior mandible, it feels like the bone is notched.  When I press on this area with my finger, it feels sharp and makes a very slight, sharp pain.  I really don't notice it unless I press on the area.  Also, I think some of the chin bone was reshaped during the surgery.  Do I need to have the bone shaved down, or something?
