Bump under tongue

I've had a bump under my tongue for about a week now.  There seems to be two tiny hanging flaps under the tongue, and one of them is swollen.  It's pink in color, and it hurts when I squeeze it.  The only thing I can think of that caused it was licking the rim of a yogurt container.  It doesn't hurt unless I'm using my tongue to clear food out of my teeth.  Is it serious?  I was just waiting for it to go away, but it's been a week now and I'm wondering if I should be worried.
