Canker Sores After Wisdom Teeth Removal

by JohnChase, Oct 29, 2009 01:49PM
28 year-old male.  Had my lower wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago.  Not much socket pain.  A few days later my mouth errupted with canker sores under my tongue and along the sides of my cheeks and tongue near the surgical site. It also seems that I am salivating more than usual (I especially notice this when I try to sleep on my side).  This is making it hard to talk and eat.  Any advice?

Seeing an oral medicine specialist is advised.
