Cracked tooth in the middle stages of root canal

Cracked tooth in the middle stages of root canal

I had a root canal a few months ago, and my dentist failed to inform me that there are many EXPENSIVE steps that follow the initial procedure.  So in the mean time I've been trying to save money to get the crown, and my tooth is now cracked.  I guess I waited too long.  My tooth is starting to turn a grayish color.  I have headaches and neck pain everyday, fatigue, and heart palpitations.  I don't know if these symptoms are related to the root canal procedure, but they did begin around the same time period.  Can my tooth still be saved?  Is putting this off any longer a serious health risk?

A cracked tooth may result in alveolodental infection, seeing a dentist to have a thorough evaluation is advised. Seeing a physician to evaluate your systemic condition is advised.
