Mercury Poisoning from Amalgam Fillings

by FancyPantsandMe, Aug 26, 2009 08:10AM
I realize by law you can't comment directly about how or if mercury poisoning occurs with amalgam fillings, but I was just wondering if any of the dentists here are "mercury free" dentists ( I am seeing one in Missouri) and what is the best alternative filling material for teeth besides a poisonous metal substance?

Thanks.

Most of the highly qualified dentists do no use the Amalgam fillings due to many reasons. There are many different types of alternatives also and depending on the tooth, the opposing and adjacent tooth, the depth of the filling, etc a highly trained dentist would need to decide. http://www.top3dentists.com/pages/general
