Pain 1 week after root canal

by caz3103, Mar 19, 2009 04:25AM
I had my first appoinment for root canal treatment last week, (i have anotther 2 appointments booked) Last night the pain was unreal, it was sorer than when I first went to the dentist, I didnt get any sleep for the pain.  The thing is, it hasnt been that sore since it was done ..... is this normal, or should I be going back to the dentist.
The tooth is very sore to touch with finger, tongue, or even biting teeth together.
I did have a course of antibiotics before the procedure was started.

This could be a normal thing, but also the bite needs to be evaluated as well as possibility of fracture and if the root canal was done properly and if all the canals were filled
