Pain from filling

by princesshareen, Apr 01, 2009 01:39AM
I had a fillling done by my dentist 7 weeks ago on a tooth on the bottom right side of my mouth.  Since then, i've been experiencing sensititivity in most of my teeth, not just the one that was filled.  The sensitivity is to cold temperatures.  Also, if I sleep on the right side of my body at night, laying down on my right side puts pressure on my right cheek, which then causes swelling and sharp pain due to pressure on the tooth with the filling.  At night, I have a tendency to sleep on the right side of my body which causes me to lay the right side of my face on my pillow.  It causes excruciating pain and wakes me while sleeping. Sometimes as the pain worsens, i get a clogged ear n also pain in the ear.  Is this normal after a week of getting the fillings done??

This could be due to the fact that you may need a root canal http://www.top3dentists.com/pages/endodontics  This link will tell you about Root Canal and Endodontists due to either a deep filling or a crack on the tooth, it could be due to your sinuses, or it could be due to the fact that you have had a silent form of bite disease that no symptoms had shown and all of a sudden due to a change in one filling, everything fell apart.   http://www.top3dentists.com/pages/neuro_dentistry  This page will give you information on TMJ, TMJ therapy and Neuromuscualr Dentistry
