Rootcanal in 2005 during my pregnancy- now have a fistula

I had a rootcanal #14 tooth in 2005 during my pregancy and now in 2009 after my 6 month check up tehy found a fistula on #14. I have had difficult hearing out of my left ear and HA for while. Could this be from teh fistua? I am going next week to endodontist who did the original rootcanal in 2005. Do I have to worry about further infections in my body? I also started on Aprsio( for Ulcerative colitis a) about 3 months ago..could this have anything to do with causing the fistual?

The most common cause of failed root canal treatment is imcomplete canal debridement and obturation. Root fracture or poor coronal restoration may be implicated.Seeing your endodontist is advised.
