Sensitive and shifting teeth after wisdom tooth extraction

Sensitive and shifting teeth after wisdom tooth extraction

On April 7, 2009 I had my upper right wisdom tooth extracted. Two weeks later I went to urgent care and found out I have an infection. I've been on penicillin v potassium three days now. My wisdom tooth was very close to my second molar. My problem is that I feel like my teeth on the right side might be a little loose. My upper right teeth are very sensitive. Is this normal? How long until sensitivity goes away? How long will the teeth be loose? Is there anything I can do to promote healing? My extraction site has pink tissue in the center of the hole now and it seems like the outer gum is healing together. When I talked to the dentist office they said the infection might be coming from my second molar? There are no holes in the second molar. They said they might want to pack my hole or extract my molar if I come in. Is that normal? I am using salt water rinses daily. I am also rinsing with 1/2 peroxide 1/2 water 3 times a day in my mouth like the urgent care doctor told me too. What can I do to make the pain and sensitivity go away fast? Will penicillin v 500mg 4 times a day kick the infection? Thank you so much.

Seeing an oral surgeon to have a post-op evaluation is advised.
