Swelling over a year later?!?!

Swelling over a year later?!?!

I've had 3 wisdom teeth extracted within the last 2 years, starting in October 2007.  I got the 2nd and 3rd removed in May and August of 2008.  (The 4th, top left, is impacted.)

I took antibiotics every time, but I started antibiotics before the second extraction, because I was in severe pain.  I had to sleep sitting up, when I could sleep.  (The other two wisdom teeth chipped/broke.  I didn't have pain with them, except with the first because it kept cutting my tongue.)  I felt fine, within a day or two, after all 3, so I was only careful with food.

I never noticed any swelling; however, in April/May 2008, my co-workers commented extensively about how swollen I appeared.  I was too focused on the pain, and I didn't see it myself, so I didn't use ice, and then they stopped mentioning it so I assumed they were just exaggerating, or it was gone.

Until 8-9 months ago, I started noticing a crease/indentation separating my lower eyelid from my upper cheek, like 1/4 an inch below my lashes.  Nearing 30, I figured it might just be wrinkles, but I haven't seen this on anyone, not even really old people, and none of the anti-wrinkle (or puffy eyes/dark circles) products work for me.

However, when I press my finger on my upper cheek, the crease disappears, and I look normal again.  So, I'm growing convinced it's not bags or wrinkles or puffiness, or anything to do with my eyes.  Now, I'm wondering if it's my cheeks that are swollen, whether from the extraction or some underlining problem.

I have considered that maybe I should just lose weight, and I'm trying, but I've been pretty static for 3-4 years, except dropping from a size 10 to an 8, within the last year. I do have a round face, but my cheeks don't seem overly chubby.

I plan to schedule appts after I figure out what questions to ask.  I've already stopped wearing eye makeup--my PCP said it could be allergies, but I didn't mention the extractions.  I thought it was something with my eyes.  Now I'm not so sure.
