Tooth pain (unknown source) after 5 tooth bridge

I have had a permanent bridge for about 2-1/2 weeks. It spans 5 teeth (from tooth #31, bottom right molar, spanning two adjacent missing teeth and anchored to two teeth in front of that).  I had a temporary bridge for about 3 weeks and it has hurt ever since I got the temp bridge -- so I've been in pain for well over a month now.  The permanent bridge may hurt even more tan the temp one but dentist seems to think my bite is good. I cannot tell exactly where the pain is coming from -- sometimes the whole bridge hurts and sometimes seems like it is one of the front teeth covered by the bridge (or both).  I think the dentist believes I am just looking for drugs (he gave me vicodin and also antibiotics) and he eiter doesn't believe or understand why I am having this pain. The drugs don't help much anyway (not completely anyway and advil doesn't touch it).  I am afraid to have a root canal because I can't tell WHICH tooth really hurts under the bridge -- and I could end up with 3 root canals. Actually, my whole mouth seems to be hurting now because I am chewing mostly on my left side and I can tell my bite is way off.  I have an appt w/ this guy in the morning.  What should I ask him to check?  May this pain go away after more time? I have already spent nearly $7k and can't afford to spend that much again.  But I can't live with this kind of constant pain either (sometimes dull and aching and sometimes more sharp and also with hot/cold sensitivity).  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you didn't have symptoms before bridge fabrication, your current problems most likely originate from occlusal interfernce of new restoration. Going back to your dentist to have more delicate occlusal adjustment is advised. If your dentist can not solve your problem, you may need to see an occlusionist or prosthodontist.
