Wisdom Teeth!

by sjsamples, Nov 07, 2009 07:53PM
My wisdom teeth recently started coming in. The top 2 have already made their way through. I was pregnant all year, up until October 9th, and I have been unable to have them removed. The top ones do not hurt at all, although I am sure they may cause problems in the future and it would be wise to have them removed. But my question isn't about the top ones.

My left bottom wisdom tooth just starting coming in a few weeks ago. I have been in a lot of pain from it. The tooth looks as if it is decayed. It looks like it is breaking through the gums a brownish color. I recently looked and there was a small white puss pocket next to it that feels very ulcer like. I have been trying to get my insurance to cover the extraction so I can go to the dentist and have it removed. Could you tell me what the white spot is, and what to do about my tooth until I can have it removed. I am really worried about it.

Seeing an oral surgeon is advised.
