pain after tooth extraction

pain after tooth extraction

I had my decayed tooth extracted 2-3 months ago.I still get excruciating pain at the empty gap of the tooth which was extracted. This isn't everyday, probably, 2-3 times a week. The pain continues to the upper and nearby teeth.I usuallt take a couple of paracetamol and an antibiotic and in 3-4 hours the pain vanishes.I really need help.

Thanks.

we have branches of nerve, the pain may have come from the other neighboring teeth
have your dentist check the other tooth if it has a problem.
other than that, go to your dentist it can be a case of dry socket wherein a clot was dislodge exposing the extraction site which is very painful.

has the gap where the tooth was filled in yet? if its still a big hole it could be dry socket but that usually happens within like 2 weeks of having it pulled... personally i think my doctor messed up or pulled too much when he took mine out and i have gum, bone, or jaw bone poping out the side of my gum that hurts when its touched sometimes might be the same for you?
