terrible gum inflammed

by coach99, Apr 30, 2009 10:18PM
i had my first temp dental crowns on my top-front 4 teeth yesterday, i feel so irritated by the gum inflammation so i sent see my dentist today, he told me my gum and mouth tissue hurt so bad is becasue of the temp crown, i'm allergic to it's material...my mouth tissue is like burning and started peeling off...and it makes me look so bad, i never thought about crowns will bring that much of pain and trouble...or else, i would not have done it.

the dentist said i'm his first client has allergy to the temp crown material, how could it happen to me?

In my experience, temporary crown material is generaaly not allergic; instead, temporary cement which contains eugenol, is likely to cause allergic reaction in few cases.
