wisdom tooth extraction

4 days ago i had my lower right wisdom tooth removed. i am still in extreme pain that radiates under my teeth on the right, up to my right ear and i can only open my mouth about an inch. what is the problem? is this normal?

I had my lower left wisdom tooth removed last month.  I didn't really have a lot of pain, but I couldn't fully open my mouth for a few days.  I hope it gets better for you.
