my mother is schizophrenic and i have had increasingly worsening derealization disorder, subconscious OCD etc, could this be the beginnings of schizophenia for me, i am 30

It is understandable that you are concerned given your mother's history. You will be relieved to hear that dissociative symptoms like this are as common among college students as back ward psychotics.

ive heard that "feeling not quite right" can be the beginning of schizophrenia
but i don't have hallucinations at all, there are no voices, my tv doesn't talk to me, i don't think any one is plotting against me or is out to get me, etc. i just have severe derealization
