Change Setting

My Grandson accidentally changed a setting on my computer.Now when I click to go to a web site instead of going directly to the site I get a small box that I have to click maximize bfore I go to the site.I do not know how to change this.Can anyone help?

OS= operating system
So it means are you running XP, Vista, 7, or older then  those.

WELL thats a big problem IE ***** switch to google chrome much better i think it may be better then FireFox

Okay being i dont use IE this is what i can tell you
Goto Tools>internet options>Advance
then click restore advance settings

then resart if that dosent work click on the one that says
Reset......

beyond that i dont know what to say really i dont use it

(if you dont see tools right cilck below URL enter area and you should see a opetion that says menu bar make that one checked.)

One thing that sometimes happens with windows is that the window gets shrunk by moving the arrow to make it smaller and then when it is opened, it remembers the size.  So by stretching (maximizing) it, and then closing it, when it is opened, it should open to the full size that it was left in.

Not sure if this is your problem.  

I know in Opera, I have typed fast & hit the glasses to upper right side which shrunk the size of the text, etc....so lots of interesting things happen when we inadvertently hit keys...lol!
