I was diagnosed with a heart arrythmia just 2 months ago, but now, some new a different symptoms have been happening. I use a foam wedge in bed when I sleep, because of my GERD. Yesterday I had no GERD at all, so I figured it would be alright to sleep without it. I sleep on my right side. When I woke up this morning, I noticed that my heart was racing, even before I got out of bed, I was extremely tired, drowsy, and dizzy. I also had a cough from hell. It felt like a tickle in my throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture that just would'nt go away. It wasn't until I ate some oatmeal and drank my usual greenGreen tea tea, for breakfast that I started to feel better. I also had a feeling in my chest like I was catching a cold.
This has happened before, but not to this extreme. I've also noticed, through some research, that oatmeal and greenGreen tea tea are natural diuretics. I obcessively research my symptoms on the internet so I know what to ask my doctor about the next time I see him.
I was diagnosed with CHF/Cardiomyopathy about 2 years ago. The symptoms I had were:
A heaviness or pressure on my chest
coughing (also a pink, foamy "phlegm")
swelling in feet and legs
being out of breath (all the time)
dizziness
nausea/vomiting
exhaustion
You should get checked out, just in case. When I had these symptoms, they didn't go away until I got on Lisinopril and a diuretic. Later, Coreg was added to my meds and I feel much better now. My ejection fracture was about 23%, now it is mre than 50%.
