Hi,
Your echo is suggestive of enlargement of the left ventricle and the resultant decrease in the contractility of the ventricle and thus the reduction in the EF. The valve abnormalities seem to be secondary to the underlying LV enlargement & dysfunction. You need to ensure that your blood pressure remains under control and also the dietary measures like a decrease in salt & fluid intake. You need to ensure that you’re taking one of the ace inhibitors like ramipril/enalapril which help in improving the EF and ensure that further worsening doesn’t take place. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
