Fatigue in upper arms and across chest

Recently my husband has been having this extreme fatigue-weakness feeling in both of his upper arms and across his upper chest.  It comes on for no reason and it has been getting more frequent.  He is 58 years old and has never had this before until recently.

I cannot confirm anything without examination but there are a few possibilities for such symptoms. Important ones that need to be ruled out are  fibromyalgia ,chronic fatigue syndrome,polymyositis, polymyalgia rheumatica,muscular dystrophy,diabetes,osteoarthritis,deranged potassium levels and CVA.
Complete physical examination along with investigations like EKG,electrocardiography,ESR blood, platelet count Rheumatoid factor, creatine kinase,electromyography and muscle biopsy may be needed to make a diagnosis.Pls consult a physician for that.
