Zyprexa(olanzepine), an antipsychotic drug, does not build up in the body and is metabolized on a regular basis. Dose depends upon the patient’s condition and individual requirement for that patient. Common side effects to this drug include restlessness, dry mouth, sedation, constipation, urinary retention, increase in appetite, hypotension, seizures etc. Cardiac rhythm changes like bradycardia or tachycardia are common with use of this drug. Death or cardiac asthma are not reported with use of olanzepine. Best.
