The common symptoms of failure of the heart valve are shortness of breath or difficulty catching one’s breath when lying down or while being active, pressure in the chest when one breathes cold air, weight or discomfort in one’s chest when you straining like walking, eating, in toilet etc , heart palpitations or rapid heart rate, dizziness and a feeling of weakness. I’ll suggest you to consult a cardiologist and discuss the same. Episodes of fainting can be one of the signs of heart failure.
