myocardial infarction from hanging up side down for 3 hours
An 84 year old woman with history of myocardial infarcts left hanging up side down for 3 hours suffered a myocardial infarction and renal failure. Did the inversion substantially contribute to these conditions?
Interesting story, could you elaborate? What the devil was an 84 year old woman doing hanging upside down?
Stress can do a lot of interesting things to the body, and left hanging upside down at 84 years old would seem like a stressful situation.
From what I know of kidney failure(I'm stage 5 renal failure), I believe if her heart was weak enough to give out during her ordeal, then it would stand to reason that the kidneys would give out also, as they are one of the major blood using organs in the body. Without enough blood the kidneys go into failure.
