Put three fingers of your hand on your outer side of the lower part or wrist of the forearm where the radial artery lies and count the pulsations in one minute.This will be your pulse.You can also in a similar way feel the pulsations below the ear on your neck near the temporomandibular joint where the carotids lie.

You can take your pulse for 15 seconds and then multiply times 4. You can take your pulse in your wrist or neck.
