when options run out
HI,
I am new to this community but not to heart failure.
history- age 44, dx at 41 with breast cancer, chemo induced HF, ICD, from March '08- April '09was on LVAD.  Told not transplant candidate because of cancer in '06.  CVA in '07.  On the usual oral meds for management but not doing well.Heart doses can't be maxed because I have severe low BP  My current EF is around 15, which is not the lowest it has ever been.  However, I am now having symptoms at rest.  Even reading a story to my son makes me winded.  All that is left really is inotropes.  Is it time for hospice?
thanks,
Ally
