Hi, I need some help understanding why the 2 cardiac MD’s have said 2 different things. The doctor performing the test said all is ok. The primary cardiac doctor says there are blockages.
Test done on Jan 30, Female, Age 54.
Hemodynamics: Mild systemic hypertension & mildly elevated LVEDP
Cardiac Structures: Global left ventricular function normal. EF calculated by contrast ventriculography was 55%.
Coronary Circulation: Distal LAD: 100 % stenosis. Mid circumflex: 100 % stenosis. 2nd obtuse marginal: 90% stenosis. Mid RCA: 100% stenosis. Graft to distal LAD: patent small sized LIMA. Graft to 1st diagonal & RPDA Graft: Both sapnenous vein grafts from aorta. Graft Angioplasty: Both show luminal irregularities.
Was the doctor performing the test a cardiologist? Your post is confusing, normally the term 100% stenosis would indicate a complete blockage and I can't imagine you have that many blockages. Can you look at the report again and makes sure exactly what the wordage is and let us know?
Well according to your report, you've had bypass surgery at some time. I think one is simply telling you about existing blockages even though youve had bypasses. I think the other one is just saying everything is ok because bypasses have been done.
