13 years little girl with sclerodermi

My little sister was diagnosed with sclerodermi for 6 years ago. After a session with doctors they proposed to do a cosmic surgery on her face (right side beside the nose and lips and under the chin).
I want to know what are the success criteria and what to expect from such surgery. Will there be any scars post operation?

I presume your sister has linear scleroderma.  This can be corrected with surgery and some scarring will always be present, but her condition should be improved with the procedure.
