Acne and breast augmentation

I am wondering if you are more at risk for capsular contraction if you have body acne? I have surgery just a few days away and have been fretting over this for awhile now. My surgeon has not mentioned it to me as a concern however, I see certain things that raise a red flag. I do not have severe acne but, I get breakouts on my chest and back on a regular basis. When I do get them due to stress, they are larger and more deep then the day to day ones. Those just happen to be what I have at this time. Any help or information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Other than a hematoma or bleed following surgery, there is no consensus as to the true cause of capsule contracture.  There is a theory that a subclinical bacterial infection may sometimes play a role.  I know of no medical studies that indicate that the presence of acne (even body acne) contributes to the risk of capsule contacture.
