Am I eligible for domestic violence pro bono programs,?

In 2008 ( I have all my records from the hospital) My (now ex-boyfriend) broke my nose. I am on medicaid. I went to a doctor two years later because since the break I snore I cannot breath or smell anything. I cant wear sunglasses without going into a full blown migrain due to the pain of the glasses resting on my nose! SO this ENT promised to shave the cartalidge that was in pain and has a huge bump down for free. while my medicaid covered my deviated septum. Well after the surgery there is no difference besides that my docters can see he fixed the septum. I still cannot smell. The bump not only continues to swell but is always painful and emotionally I remember my ex and the violence every time I look in ithe mirror or my friends and family say things like "He really difigured your nose for life" "but your still beautiful"...I need help I cant work my self esteem is sooo low. I cover my nose while driving so people wont see it. I quit dateing I quit everything that has to do with social activities in the light of day!

Domestic violence programs are available via physician voluntary basis often state by state.  You would need to contact your State's social services division to see if they can help identify physicians who perform these services.
