Are fat injections the best option to correct hollow temples?

I have lost about 10-lb. recently and I am 20-lb. underweight for my height.  I am a 30 year old male and 5'8, 136 lb.  For many years, I noticed that my temples are very hollow and I have hardly any fat on the sides of my forehead.  I can feel the bone structure of my forehead.  Is this called temporalis atrophy?  My temples have been hollow since my early 20s.

Even when a dietitian helped me gain weight a few years ago, I notice that my weight gain was still not able to fill in this temple area.  Would gaining 20 lb. (going up to normal weight for my height) help?  Are fat injections the best solution?

Also, I have heard that a lack of sleep causes the temple area to look sunken and indented.  Is there any truth to it?  I believe it is a eastern medicine point of view.

Fat injections may be a good alternative, provided you have sufficient fat elsewhere to liposuction and use for injection.  Alternatives included various fillers such as Sculptra, Perlane or potentially Artefill.  The lack of sleep producing your condition seems like an Old Wives' Tale.
