Axillary Breast Tissue

Axillary Breast Tissue

Searching online I found out yesterday that I have axillary breast tissue (didn't even know the name of it) but actually I've been having this problem since I was in my late teens - closer to 20. Very small - the left one is bigger than the right one. I've been reading stories through the internet but I want to know what exactly is AXILLARY BREAST TISSUE: disease, condition, symptoms, treatments, medications, side effects, precautions, how long it takes for the surgery procedure, what they are going to do in the operation, how long is going to take to recover, etc.

*Please answer ASAP because I'm really scared and getting stressed day by day & don't know what to do
plus I'm jobless and with no insurance and live in California what should I do in this case, please advice?

Axillary breast tissue is not a disease.  Normally, breast tissue is found extending into the armpit area.  Just as some breasts are naturally larger than others, so some axillary breast tissue is more prominent in some than in others.  Treatment is usually cosmetic and can range from liposuction alone to direct surgical resection.  You would need to be examined by a plastic surgeon to determine you best treatment option.  Because treatment is optional and cosmetic it is typically not insurance covered.
